Teachers in physical and virtual classrooms struggle with giving effective feedback to their students. One solution is screencasting. Instructors can record their voices over documents and videos, giving visual, oral, and written feedback to individual students. Screencasting provides a safe space for personalized error correction as well as positive reinforcement. This technology can connect teachers to students worldwide, helping prepare a new generation of global citizens.
I live in San Jose and am excited to meet new teachers, share my passion for CALL and for screencasting and learn from all the sessions I'm going to be attending.
