A new language pedagogy is necessary, wherein multicultural awareness along with multilingualism constitute the core of the foreign language curriculum. This lecture explores the importance of self-empowering language learners to appreciate cultural differences for global success. This, through more significant cultural experiences as well as the needs language instructors’ have to encourage such competences from the EFL classroom.
